Grid-connected system
The simplest and most affordable system: solar power for your own use, surplus into the grid, grid supply at night.
How it works
The modules on the roof generate direct current, the inverter converts it into alternating current for the household. Whatever is not used at that moment flows into the public grid, where feed-in is permitted and metered. At night or on dark days the house draws power from the grid as usual.
Important to know: a grid-connected system without battery switches off during a power cut, as required by safety rules. If backup power matters to you, the hybrid system is the right choice.
