Off-grid system

Full self-sufficiency for homes without a grid connection: solar modules, battery and, if needed, a generator for backup.

How it works

An off-grid system has to cover the entire demand of the house on its own, day and night, in the sunny and in the rainy season. The modules and the battery are therefore sized for the month with the least sun, not for the average.

A small generator can serve as reserve for long cloudy periods and only runs a few hours per year. Load management, for example running the water pump at midday, keeps the system small and affordable.
